It’s as easy as registering a Rs.200 loaded Starbucks Card at www.starbucks.in/card or on Starbucks India mobile app and paying with your Starbucks Card at any Starbucks store in India to earn Stars. You need to register any Starbucks Card issued in India with the 14 digits on the back of your card at www.starbucks.in/card or on the Starbucks India mobile app. One Star will be loaded on to your account for every Rs.300 spent from your Starbucks Card at any Starbucks store in India.

There are 3 levels in the program:

  • Welcome
  • Green
  • Gold

The benefits that the member will receive at the respective levels are as follows:

Welcome level: By registering your Starbucks Card issued in India, you are at the Welcome level of the My Starbucks Rewards™ program and you may receive the following benefits:
  • A free tall size birthday drink (available from the 1st of your birthday month and expires at end of the birthday month)
  • A beverage size upgrade on any handcrafted beverage upon registration (expires within 30 days from the date you reach Welcome level). This reward is not applicable on featured beverages

Green level: Once you have earned 5 Stars in 12 months, you will move to the Green level, where you may receive the following benefits:

  • A free tall size birthday drink (available from the 1st of your birthday month and expires at the end of the birthday month)
  • A free customization on any handcrafted beverage (expires within 3 months from the date you reach Green)
  • A free tall size beverage on purchase of 250g Whole Bean coffee (applicable only on the same transaction)
  • A free size upgrade on one featured beverage (expires within 2 weeks from the date of the launch of the featured beverage).

Gold level- After you earn 25 Stars in 12 months (20 additional Stars after initially qualifying for Green level), you will qualify for the Gold level. At this level you may receive the following benefits:

  • A free tall size birthday drink (available from the 1st of your birthday month and expires at end of the birthday month)
  • Two free customizations on any handcrafted beverage (expires within 12 months from the date you reach the Gold level). One customization is allowed on one handcrafted beverage only at a time
  • A free tall size beverage on purchase of 250g Whole Bean coffee (applicable only on the same transaction)
  • A free size upgrade on one featured beverage (expires within 2 weeks from the date of launch of the featured beverage)
  • A free tall size drink after every 10 additional Stars earned (expires within 3 months from the date it is received)
When you create a My Starbucks Rewards™ account, you provide contact information so we can reward you with various benefits as well as special offers. Additionally, when you register a Starbucks Card, you receive balance protection in case your card is ever lost or stolen. Finally, with a registered card, you can manage your account in a variety of ways online and on the Starbucks India mobile app.
Stars can be earned by making purchases at Starbucks stores in India using a registered physical Starbucks Card issued in India or by using the Starbucks India mobile app. Every time you spend Rs.300 (incl. taxes) at a Starbucks store in India, you will earn one Star.
No, you can earn Stars only when you make a purchase at any Starbucks store in India using your registered physical Starbucks Card or your Starbucks India mobile app and not when you reload your Starbucks Card.
You will earn a Star every time you spend a total of Rs.300 in a single transaction or multiple transactions at a Starbucks store in India. For example, if you spend Rs.130 in your first transaction you will not receive a Star. However, the amount spent will count towards the earning of a Star as soon as you spend a cumulative total of Rs.300. Hence, when you spend Rs.170 in your next transaction, you would earn a Star.
You can register a maximum of 20 cards to your Starbucks.in account. However, you may have only one account. Any payment for a transaction can be made with more than one Starbucks Card.
No, your store partner will not notify you if you have a free drink reward waiting - so be sure to watch for email notifications and check your rewards status online ( www.starbucks.in/card) or on the Starbucks India mobile app. Your rewards can also be seen on your charge slip generated at any Starbucks store in India.
If your card is registered, your membership in My Starbucks Rewards™ and any remaining card balance will be protected as of the time you notify us of its loss. After logging in to your www.starbucks.in account, visit the My Cards section and click on the Report Lost/Stolen link. Alternatively you can use your Starbucks India mobile app to report your Card as Lost/Stolen.
That will freeze your remaining balance at the time you reported your card as lost or stolen, and you can then transfer it to a new Starbucks Card - without any hassle or fees.
Firstly, you can do a Balance Inquiry online or at a Starbucks store in India or check your Balance Inquiry receipt. If you still feel that the balance is inaccurate, please call the Customer Care Centre at 18602660010 or send an email to: card@tatastarbucks.com for assistance.
As the Starbucks Card is locally managed, all transactions can only be done for the Starbucks Card purchased at any of the Starbucks stores in India. We cannot perform any transactions which include reloading on cards issued from markets other than India.
All rewards will be loaded in 24 hrs. onto your account from the time you upgrade or downgrade from levels.
Yes. After registering, you have one year to accumulate Stars to reach Green or Gold Level. If you earn less than the necessary amount of Stars for each level, your Star count will be reset to zero on your anniversary date. The star count will also reset to zero once you attain or retain the Gold level.
No, your Star counter will be reset to zero, but you can continue to earn the additional Stars over and above your qualifying Stars to requalify or move up levels.
During the course of the program, members may get several opportunities to earn additional Stars on promotional beverages and other offers that may be run by Starbucks India.
When you log into your account online or on Starbucks India mobile app, you will be able to see all the rewards you have earned at your level under Account Rewards. This recognition is presented in the form of Stars or rewards earned.
Once you reach the Green level, you will be at that level for a full year from the date you qualified. Simply earn 5 additional Stars before your anniversary date (the date you earned Green) and you will continue to enjoy Green level benefits for another year. If you do not earn the necessary Stars you will move back to Welcome level and your Stars will be reset to 0.
Once you reach the Gold level, you will be at that level for a full year from the date you qualified. Simply earn 25 additional Stars before your anniversary date (the date you earned Gold) and you will continue to enjoy Gold level benefits for another year. If you do not earn the necessary Stars you will move back to Green level and your Stars will be reset to 0.
No. Sorry, memberships and rewards are non-transferable and cannot be shared with family members, friends and others.
No. There is no membership fee at any level of the program.
Rewards have an expiration date because we want to encourage members to use them. As our most loyal customers we want you to enjoy all your rewards because you deserve that free hand-crafted beverage, size upgrade and customization. We hope you will visit us often enough that your rewards won't ever come close to their expiration date.
You can always check the status of your rewards if you log into your account at www.starbucks.in/card. Click on "Account Rewards" and there you will find the number of Stars and the status of the rewards you have earned. You can also use the Starbucks India mobile app to keep track of your rewards. Rewards can be redeemed by using your registered Card and letting your store partner know you have a birthday or earned reward on your account. Your store partner will redeem it on the item of your choice.
No, your Stars and benefits are at account/benefits level, so once you’ve qualified for the respective level benefits for the first time, all cards registered to your account automatically qualify.
No. Every year on your anniversary date (the date you qualified for the Gold level), our system will look back and confirm whether or not you have earned the minimum 25 Stars during that timeframe. If so, you'll remain at the Gold level for another year. You can only qualify for 1 year at a time and earning more than the necessary Stars does not make you eligible for the Gold level for multiple years.
If you do not earn the necessary 5 Stars to maintain your Green level status in the program, your Stars will be reset to 0 and you would be at the Welcome level from where you would need to earn 1 additional Star to stay at the Welcome level or earn 5 additional Stars again to go back to the Green level.
You will receive only one birthday reward in the month of your birthday as long as you are an active member of the My Starbucks Rewards™ Program. Any unused Birthday Rewards will not be carried forward to the following year.
Yes, you can redeem multiple rewards that you have in your account at a single time as long as they are within the expiry period.
No, you can’t redeem multiple offers available to you on the same beverage.
Just tell our store partner you’d like to redeem your reward and present one of your registered Starbucks Cards or use your Starbucks India mobile app to redeem your rewards.
The Stars accumulated will be calculated annually on your anniversary date (the date you qualified for the current level of membership) to determine the level of membership you are in. Stars accumulated will be calculated independently each year.
Yes, you will need to pay by the physical Starbucks Card or use the Starbucks India mobile app at the time of purchase in order to earn Stars.
Your Gold Card has been pre-registered to your account and you may transfer funds from one of your cards or reload value to your Gold Card once you receive it.
Definitely! You can use the Starbucks Card registered to your account to earn Stars and redeem rewards. This means that once you hit the Gold level, although you’ll receive a personalized Gold Card from us, you can keep using your currently registered Starbucks Card(s).
All Starbucks Cards registered on www.starbucks.in or on the Starbucks India mobile app are eligible. Cards purchased or registered outside India cannot be used in India and hence will not earn Stars or My Starbucks Rewards™ benefits.
Sorry, Stars collected in each account can only be used by that account holder, and cannot be transferred to another account.
We want to make sure the balance on your account reflects your purchases accurately. If the total number of Stars doesn’t appear to be correct, please call the Customer Care Centre at 18602660010 or send an email to card@tatastarbucks.com for assistance.
You will only earn Stars on the amount paid using a registered physical Starbucks Card or by using Starbucks India mobile app. For example: on a bill of Rs.1000, if you pay Rs.900 by your physical Starbucks Card and Rs.100 by cash, then you will be eligible to earn Stars on Rs.900 and not on the full amount. In case there is an offer where Bonus Stars can be earned, the entire transaction must be paid for using a single registered Starbucks Card, for the member to receive those Bonus Stars.
No, you cannot redeem 2 customizations on the same beverage. However, you can redeem it on two different beverages in the same transaction or on different transactions.
You can log in to your account at www.starbucks.in/card or use your Starbucks India mobile app & report Lost/Stolen, then you must deactivate your card to protect its balance. You can then transfer the balance from your deactivated Gold card to another registered card in your account. Once the card is deactivated you can no longer use it.

Login to your account on the Starbucks India app
Click on the settings option on the right of the screen
Click on ‘Refer your Friend Option’. You will see a code displayed.
Click on ‘Share my Code’ and choose the medium through which you would like to share your code.

Login to your account through the card section on the Starbucks India website
Click on ‘Refer your Friend Option’ on the right of the screen
Add the email id of the person you want to refer
Click Send Email

Please Note: A user can get a maximum of 5 Bonus Stars each month.
i.e The maximum times the code can be shared each month is 5 times
On referral, if the referrer will earn 1 Bonus Star only when the Referred customer successfully registers to the My Starbucks Rewards™ Program.
